When I first began holding space, I believed the same thing most of the healing world does: that intimacy and erotic energy had no place in the room. I was taught to keep it clinical, keep it “safe,” and avoid anything that might stir too much aliveness.
But here’s what happened: in over 50% of my energy healing sessions, an erotic charge would arise naturally in the field. Clients’ bodies would pulse, energy would swell, subtle sensations would open - and I didn’t know what to do with it.
The traditional methods I’d been taught told me to redirect, to shut it down, to move away. But the truth was, ignoring it made the session fall flat. Clients left “relaxed” but not transformed. I left frustrated, underutilized, and secretly wondering if I was missing something essential.
The ah-ha came when I finally realized: erotic energy isn’t a problem — it’s transformation potential.
Once I learned how to include the erotic current safely and with trauma-awareness, everything changed. Sessions stopped collapsing, clients opened in ways they’d never experienced before, and intimacy became the very fuel for transformation. What I thought I needed to avoid was actually the missing piece.
And that’s why I created Energetic Intimacy™ - so other healers and facilitators don’t have to keep bypassing the most alive, powerful current in the room.
